Venue for North, South Korean Military Talks Changed

Seoul, 15 July: South and North Korea will hold their military talks in the truce village of Panmunjom next week, not in Seoul as previously scheduled, after the North requested the change in location Friday [15 July], the Defence Ministry said.
Their working-level talks will be held Wednesday at the village near the Demilitarized Zone to determine the date and agenda for their general-grade talks.
North Korea made the proposal “to avoid wasting time and other complications, and in consideration that the talks are being held by working-level officials”, a ministry official said. [Passage omitted]
