Reacting to the two Zionist assassination crimes in Salfit and Gaza, Hamas leading figure [Hamas Political Bureau member] Dr Muhammad Ghazal said: What happened is a continuation of what Israel did in Tulkarm and Nablus two days ago [13 July] and what it did in Gaza last night. He added that this proves beyond any doubt the nature of the Zionist side and its criminal acts.
Ghazal added: "Regrettably, some of the Palestinian [National] Authority's personnel, who lead the Palestinian people, forgot this fact and thought that Israel is a dove of peace."
Ghazal called on these people to reconsider their stands and to stand by their oppressed people.
On the fate of calm following the occupation forces' two assassination crimes against the [Hamas military wing Martyr Izz-al- Din] Al-Qassam [Brigades] members, Ghazal said: "Those who sought to achieve calm were interested in protecting the Israelis' blood and not the Palestinian people's blood." He added: "Calm was adopted by a clear decision and publicly and once it is cancelled, this will take place publicly and not in secret."
