At least 20 people have been killed and about 45 others were wounded in the blast of a booby-trapped car near a mosque in Al- Musayyib, south of Baghdad, Iraqi police sources reported a short while ago.
An Iraqi police source said elements from the Wolf Brigade of the Interior Ministry were wounded in the blast of an explosive charge in Al-Mushahidah area, north of Baghdad, followed by an attack by gunmen, which resulted in the destruction of some of the brigade's vehicles.
Meanwhile, three Interior Ministry commandos were killed and five civilians were wounded in the blast of a booby-trapped car that targeted their patrol at a junction in Al-Dawrah area, south of Baghdad, according to Iraqi medical and security sources.
