Small bomb explodes in Cairo, carrier hurt-police
CAIRO (Reuters) – A small bomb exploded in a southwestern
suburb of Cairo on Sunday, seriously injuring the man who was
carrying it, police sources said.
The explosion, apparently from a primitive nail bomb, took
place in the entrance to the man’s apartment building, they
said. They named him as Sami Gamal Ahmed, 33, who works at Qasr
el-Ainy hospital in central Cairo.
