Soldiers surround Mauritanian state radio-witness
NOUAKCHOTT (Reuters) - Soldiers surrounded Mauritania's
state radio station on Wednesday and blocked off streets around
the presidency building while President Maaouya Ould Sid'Ahmed
Taya was out of the country, a witness said.
"State radio has been off air since this morning. They are
not letting anybody in," the Reuters witness said.
