At least 7 killed in Tunisian airliner crash ROME, Aug 6 (Xinhua)-- At least seven people were killed and 20 injured Saturday when the Tunisian ATR-42 airliner flight from Italy to Tunisia crashed in the sea off Sicily after reporting an engine trouble, an emergency services official said.
The aircraft, with 39 passengers on board, made an emergency landing in the sea after it reported a technical fault to Palermo airport, Italian authorities said. At least eight people were rescued from the Tunisian ATR-42 plane. Four other vessels were at the scene and were taking off more survivors from the plane, Ansa said.
