Australia Updates Travel Advisory for Saudi Arabia

Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade [DFAT] has updated its travel advice for Saudi Arabia. DFAT says Australians should defer non-essential travel to Saudi Arabia because it has received credible reports that terrorists are planning attacks in the country in the near future.
It says Australians in Saudi Arabia who are concerned for their safety should consider leaving. Australians who remain in the country are being urged to register with the Australian embassy in the capital Riyadh.
