Jordanian PM, Iraqi Interior Minister Discuss Situation in Iraq, Ties

Amman, 2 October: Prime Minister Adnan Badran on Sunday [2 October] stressed Jordan's keenness on the unity and safety of Iraqi people, stressing that the stability and security of Iraq ensures stability and security of Jordan. Badran hailed, during a meeting with Iraqi Minister of Interior Bayan Jabr [Solagh], the currently political process in Iraq, stressing the importance of all Iraqis to take part in this process. The premier hailed the brotherly cooperation relations and said that Jordan facilitated movement of people and goods between the two countries.
For his part, Jabr hailed the bilateral cooperation ties. He added that the meeting focused on ways of enhancing joint cooperation relations and developing [Jordanian] Al-Aqabah port.
