Yemen Warns Against Inter-Palestinian Rift

Yemen warned Monday against inter-Palestinian fighting, following clashes in the Gaza Strip between police and Hamas militants.
The official daily newspaper al-Thawra, in a front-page editorial reflecting government policies, said the letting of Palestinian blood was a red line that should be observed by all factions.
Yemen always stood by Palestinian unity and warned against the Israeli trap set up after the withdrawal from Gaza with the aim of wedging divisions among Palestinians, the paper said.
The newspaper urged Palestinians to take all possible measures to end the divisions and to avert a repetition of Sunday's clashes in the Gaza Strip in which three people were killed and dozens were injured.
