Taleban Claims Killing Four Army Afghan Army Troops in East

Jalalabad, 25 October: The Taleban claim that they killed four Afghan troops in [eastern] Nangarhar Province.
Taleban spokesman, Dr Mohammad Hanif, told Afghan Islamic Press [AIP] on the satellite phone a while ago: "The Taleban were lying in an ambush in Fateh Abad area of Khogiani District of Nangarhar Province and launched an attack when two vehicles arrived in the area at about 0600 [local time, 0130 gmt]. Four Afghan National Army troops were killed and six others injured in the attack.
Earlier, the spokesman for Nangarhar Province security command told AIP that a police academy vehicle was attacked and a police academy instructor was killed and two other police officers injured.
