The Independent National Dialogue Council in Ninawa Governorate and the forces which forged a coalition with it have announced that they will stand in the forthcoming elections under the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue list [al-jabha al-iraqiyah ilhiwar al- watani]. In a statement to Al-Sharqiyah Television, Mahmud al- Azzawi, secretary-general of the Independent National Dialogue Council, said that many parties and currents would stand in the elections on 15 December under the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue list.

[Al-Azzawi] The [Independent] National Dialogue Council and many other political entities: the Iraqi National Front; the National Front for Iraq's Tribes; the Arab Democratic Front, which includes the Independent Iraqi National Bloc; the Arab Democratic Party; the Independent National Dialogue Council in Ninawa Governorate, which also includes the Turkoman Front, the Independent Turkoman Movement and the Turkoman National Front; the Christian Democratic Party; and the Independent National Council in Salah al-Din. All the aforementioned entities agreed to establish a general and all- inclusive political entity under the name of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, which includes brother Dr Salih al-Mutlaq, brother Hasan Zaydan, Dr Fakhri al-Qaysi, Fahran Hawwas al-Sudayd and Mahmud Al-Azzawi.

The Iraqi Front for National Dialogue is the melting pot that includes all these social spectra that will contribute, in general, to realizing the aspirations of the sons of our people through its platforms that call for maintaining the unity of the Iraqi soil, emphasizing the Arab identity of Iraq and creating a new trend in the future political vision.
