Two dead in Egypt vote violence: security source
CAIRO (Reuters) – Police firing rubber bullets killed two
men in north Egypt on Wednesday during the last stage of
parliamentary elections in which voters have clashed with
police in several areas, a security source in north Egypt said.
The source from the Damietta area where the deaths occurred
named the men as Saeed Rizk from the village of al-Khiyata and
Shabaan Abdu Arbaa from the village of al-Sananiya. Both
villages are near the Mediterranean coastal town of Damietta.
Rights groups earlier said Saeed al-Dughaidi was killed in
al-Khiyata. It was not immediately clear why there was a
discrepancy in the name cited by the security source, but one
