Fire Crew Fights Big Oil Blaze

FIREFIGHTERS from the region are battling the huge oil blaze in the south east.
A foam tanker crew from Warrington was called to help tackle what has been described as the biggest fire in England since World War II.
A police escort accompanied the crew to the Buncefield oil depot in Hemel Hempstead last night.
Environmental experts feared dousing the flames could wash the oil or its by-products into the water supply through a nearby river.
But the go-ahead was given this morning to create a foam blanket around the depot
