Pakistan, India Hold Third Round of Talks on Iran Gas Pipeline Project

Pakistan and India today held a third round of joint working group meeting on Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project in New Delhi. The two-day meeting will continue tomorrow and a joint statement is likely to be issued at the end of the talks. Pakistan's 11-member delegation includes Adviser to the Prime Minister on Energy Mukhtar Ahmed and officials of the Ministry of Petroleum and relevant departments. Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner to India Munawar Saeed also attended the meeting.
The first round of the joint working group meeting was held in New Delhi and the second round took place in Islamabad.
