Text of report by Pakistani newspaper Nawa-i-Waqt on 16 January
Raja Shahid Zafar, a leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party [PPP], said that the US Army has carried out a bombing on Bajaur Agency in the darkness of night due to the wrong and pro-US policies of the incumbent rulers.
In a statement, he said that the rulers have disappointed the nation on all national issues. The time is not far off when several office bearers of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Qaid [PML-Q] will part ways with the rulers and join the protest movement against the US bombing on Bajaur Agency and to express solidarity with the tribal people. He said that the rulers should stop talking about constructing Kalabagh Dam at the cost of the country's integrity. The integrity of Pakistan is more dear to us than our lives.
