Iraqi gunmen kill 10 guards, kidnap engineer

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Gunmen killed 10 Iraqi guards and
kidnapped at least one Malawian engineer in an attack on a
convoy in Baghdad on Wednesday, an Interior Ministry source
said.

The source told Reuters the guards had been protecting the
engineer, who is employed by Iraqna, part of the Egyptian-owned
Orascom Telecom, and had been traveling in three or four cars.
