Moscow, 4 February: Russia is satisfied with the idea that work on the Iranian nuclear programme will continue within the framework of the IAEA. This is said in a statement by the official representative of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mikhail Kamynin, in connection with the adoption by the Board of Governors of the IAEA of a resolution on Iran's nuclear programme.
"We are satisfied with the idea - and this follows from the resolution that was adopted - that work on the Iranian nuclear programme will continue within the framework of the IAEA. The March session of the agency's Board of Governors will be an important stage here, by which the director-general of the IAEA will submit a report on the implementation by Iran of the resolution that was adopted today, as well as previous resolutions of the Board of Governors," Kamynin stated.
