Sharqiyah TV Reports More Killed Across Iraq

Iraqi police sources have said that an Iraqi soldier was martyred and two others wounded when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol in the city of Al-Fallujah, west of Baghdad. The police added that two civilians were wounded in a shooting that followed the explosion.
Police sources in Mosul said that two civilians were wounded when a car driven by a suicide bomber exploded near a US patrol in the city.
Police in Salman Pak said the two policemen were martyred and seven persons, including two policemen, were wounded when a booby- trapped car exploded near a police checkpoint, southeast of Baghdad.
In the capital Baghdad, police said that two bodies were found on a highway, northwest of Baghdad. The two bodies were tied up and had signs of gunshots in the head.
In Basra, police said that the assistant director of a major prison in Basra, southern Iraq, was killed by gunmen.
In Kirkuk, police said that gunmen killed two Iraqi policemen in the city.
Meanwhile, seven rockets fell today in the city of Samarra, killing one civilian and wounding 12 others.
