Japanese princess pregnant with third child: report
TOKYO (Reuters) – The wife of the second son of Japanese
Emperor Akihito is pregnant with her third child, Japanese
media said on Tuesday, as the country debates whether to allow
women to inherit the imperial throne.
Public broadcaster NHK said the Imperial Household Agency
was set to announce Princess Kiko’s pregnancy, but officials at
the agency said there were no such plans at the moment and they
could not confirm the pregnancy.
