Head of Al-Fallujah Municipal Council Shot Dead - Iraqi TV

The head of the Al-Fallujah Municipal Council was killed by gunshots on 7 February, Iraqi Al-Sharqiyah TV reported that day. In its 1100 gmt newscast, the TV said: "Unidentified armed men this morning assassinated Shaykh Kamal Shakir Nizal, head of the Municipal Council of Al-Fallujah, western Iraq
. A spokesman for Al- Fallujah General Hospital said that Shaykh Nizal was rushed to the emergency ward this morning suffering from bleeding resulting from deep bullet wounds which led to his death."Source: BBC Monitoring Newsfile
