Gaza, 11 February: The Ministry of Interior and National Security stressed today that the criminals who abducted Egyptian diplomat Husam al-Musili will not escape punishment.
In a statement, the ministry said that the political leadership and Interior Minister Nasr Yusuf have issued strict orders to continue the necessary investigations to capture the criminals and bring them to justice.
The ministry stressed that the happy ending of the cowardly abduction and Al-Musili's safe return home will not dissuade the police and security services from continuing their efforts to track the culprits who harmed the Palestinian-Egyptian historic relations with this abduction, which is condemned on the official and popular levels. On the contrary, what took place is more of an incentive and motive to continue the efforts to disclose the identities of the abductors, the statement added.
It is worth mentioning that the ministry has intensified security measures to secure the safety of the diplomatic missions in the Palestinian territories.
