Nigerian militants say attack gas pipeline

LAGOS (Reuters) – Nigerian militants said they attacked a
gas pipeline in the Escravos area of Delta state feeding the
Kaduna refinery in response to helicopter gunship attacks by
the military earlier this week.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta said
all pipelines, production platforms and export terminals in the
world’s eighth largest oil exporter would be targeted in a wave
of attacks over the next few hours and warned foreigners to
leave.
