Banja Luka, 22 February: [Bosnian] Serb Republic police director Dragomir Andan has been in Belgrade since Tuesday [21 February] taking part in negotiations about [former Bosnian Serb Army Chief of General Staff Gen] Ratko Mladic's departure for The Hague, a sources in the MUP RS [Serb Republic Interior Ministry] today told FoNet.
A source from the MUP RS said that Andan had gone to Belgrade after Mladic, the source claimed, had on Tuesday afternoon been transferred from central Serbia to the capital.
"Mladic is refusing to voluntarily go to The Hague, and Andan is ready to finish the scenario of his arrest in the Serb Republic [as received] from where he [Mladic] would be transported to the Hague tribunal," the senior police official, who insisted on anonymity, said.
Andan's spokesman Radovan Pejic said that he did not know where the RS police director was, adding that he could not confirm whether he was in Belgrade.
"The police director is on an official trip, and I do not know where he is," Pejic said.
