Bushehr, 26 February: Russia will continue talking to Iran about a uranium enrichment joint venture but only in connection with other issues, including a reinstatement of the Iranian moratorium, a source in the Russian delegation told ITAR-TASS after the negotiations.
"Russia intends to discuss setting up the joint venture only as part of a range of issues. The joint venture is only one measure. Iran must come back to its moratorium," the source said, adding that negotiations will continue.
["The offer was on the table but now it's in the Iranians' hands," a similarly unnamed "source in the Russian delegation" told Interfax, in a report at 1308 gmt.]
