MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russia will again raise the issue of restoring Iran's uranium enrichment moratorium along with proposals to create a uranium enrichment joint venture, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin told Interfax on Tuesday.
Asked about whether this was a requirement, Kamynin said that "the restoration of moratorium is one of the elements."
Earlier the same day, Iranian Supreme National Security Council spokesman Hossein Entezami said in Teheran that Moscow's joint venture proposal is acceptable for Iran should Iran be able to proceed with research in the area.
The Russian plan should include guarantees on delivery of nuclear fuel to Iran, allow continued research and recognize Iran's right to industrial enrichment of uranium, he said.
