"Kazakhstan adheres to the immutable position on the Taiwan issue reflected in the treaty on good neighbourliness, friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China. We confirm our adherence to the `one China' principle, including the position that the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government which represents the whole of China and that Taiwan is an integral part of Chinese territory," the message says.
