Kuwaiti, Iranian Security Officials Discuss Cooperation, Information Exchange

Kuwait, 14 March: Kuwaiti and Iranian security officials held talks Tuesday [14 March] on several bilateral security issues.
A statement by the Interior Ministry said officials in the meeting included the undersecretary major-general Ahmad al-Rujayb who headed the Kuwaiti delegation, while Iranian's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Mohammad Zolqadr headed the Iranian side. Other high security officials were also present.
Talks covered execution of a bilateral security cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enhancing security collaboration, like the coast guards, drugs and crime. Talks also covered improving bilateral security cooperation, terms of sharing information and experiences, and other bilateral security concerns.
