Iraqi prisoner dies in U.S. military prison

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – An Iraqi prisoner has been killed in a
clash with another inmate at the U.S. military’s Camp Bucca
prison, the military said on Wednesday.

The incident happened on Sunday and is being investigated
by the military’s criminal investigation division.

The 25-year-old man died from severe head injuries, a
statement by the U.S. military said.

Camp Bucca, in southern Iraq, is one of the largest prisons
and was hit by riots a year ago in which several people died.
