Moderate quake jolts western Greece
ATHENS (Reuters) – A moderate earthquake measuring 5.7
shook western Greece early on Wednesday, but no damage or
injuries were reported, Greek authorities said.
The epicenter of the quake was in the sea south of the
Ionian island of Zakynthos and was felt along Greece’s western
coastline. Authorities said crews would begin inspection on
Zakynthos to verify there was no serious damage.
