Mexico leftist has 3-point lead in new poll

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican leftist presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has a narrow three-point lead over his conservative rival ahead of the July 2 election, the Mitofsky polling group said on Thursday.
Its poll gave Lopez Obrador 36 percent support with conservative former energy minister Felipe Calderon on 33 percent.
Third-placed candidate Roberto Madrazo of the Institutional Revolutionary Party which ran Mexico for most of the 20th century trailed with 27 percent.
