Earthquake off eastern Indonesia, no tsunami

JAKARTA (Reuters) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck eastern Indonesia in the Banda Sea area on Tuesday, an official the national earthquake center said.
"There was a quake in Banda sea at 10:05 a.m. Jakarta time (0305 GMT)," said Fauzi at the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency. "There is no potential tsunami and also no damage."
The U.S. Geological Survey put the earthquake's magnitude at a strong 6.1.
