Car bomb kills civilian in Baghdad
BAGHDAD, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) — A car bomb went off in central Baghdad on Tuesday, killing a civilian and wounding three others, an Interior Ministry source said.
“A car parked near a fuel station in the Sheikh Omer neighborhood exploded, killing a civilian and wounding three others,” the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The attack came one day after a twin car bomb attack killed 75 people and wounded 160 others in the commercial area of Bab al- Sharji in central Baghdad.
