Serbian Parliament Votes in Favour of Government’s Resolution on UN Envoy’s Plan

Belgrade, 14 February: The Serbian Assembly this evening accepted by a majority vote the government proposed resolution rejecting provisions from UN special Kosovo envoy Martti Ahtisaari’s plan for the future status of Kosovo-Metohija which violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia as an internationally recognized state.
Two hundred and twenty five MPs voted in favour of the resolution, 15 were against while three MPs abstained.
