Idol Contestant's Stripper Past Confirmed

"American Idol" contestant David Hernandez worked three years at a male strip club in Phoenix, a manager at the club confirmed in an Associated Press article.
Gordy Bryan, club manager at Dick's Cabaret, says in the article that 24-year-old Hernandez appeared fully nude and performed lap dances for a mostly male clientele.
Insiders from the Fox reality TV show have yet to comment on whether Hernandez will be disqualified from the competition. He's slated to appear with the remaining eight male singers on tonight's show, the last male semifinal round. Contestants will reportedly sing songs of an '80s theme.
