Lightning Strike Kills 52 Cows in Uruguay
More than 50 cows were killed by a single lightning strike in a pasture in Uruguay, El Paid newspaper reported Friday.
Police released photos to local media of the 52 dead cows lying in a row after being killed by the strike.
The cows were reportedly killed in a pasture near the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo, while leaning against a fence that was struck by lightning during an electrical storm.
