‘Keyboard for Blondes’ talks back

The U.S. creators of the Keyboard for Blondes say the $50 talking computer accessories come complete with shortcut keys for typing LOL and OMG.

The items, which are available at, plays musical notes when users press number keys, says oops when the backspace is used and employs a cash register sound effect when the dollar sign is typed, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

The keyboards also rename some familiar keys with monikers more suited to what they actually do -- ESC has been replaced with No, while the usually unmarked space bar bears the words I need my space and the row of F keys at the top of the key arrangement spell out useless keys.
