Japan cops use Wii to make wanted poster

Japanese police used the Mii feature on Nintendo's popular Wii gaming console to create a caricature of a hit-and-run suspect for posters.

The police-created Mii, which resembles a young man with long brown hair and sunglasses, appears on a poster at the scene of a Kanagawa prefecture crash along with a picture of the type of car believed to have been driven by the suspect, Britain's The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

The Mii feature allows users to create personalized avatars that can be used for play in games including Wii Sports and Wii Fit.
