A toy that lets users trash the likeness of Ponzi scheme investment mastermind Bernard Madoff was unveiled this week at the New York Toy Fair.
The Smash-Me Bernie
toy, which has a $99.95 price tag, resembles the disgraced investor dressed in a red devil suit and includes a hammer for consumers to smash the figure, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday.
The Madoff toy was created by Phoenix toy firm ModelWorks, which also offers customized versions of the design that can be made with the likeness of anyone chosen by the customer.
Madoff was arrested in December after admitting to a $50 billion Ponzi scheme.
