A 12-year-old suburban Chicago boy with a history of sleepwalking was found Monday at Chicago's O'Hare airport driving the family car, police said.
Investigators said the boy apparently obtained the keys to the sport utility vehicle at some point after 2 a.m. Monday and drove from his family's Naperville home to the airport, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday.
Family members said the boy has been known to sleepwalk but had never taken the family's vehicle before.
Police said they were investigating whether the boy, who was found unharmed, intentionally ran away from home.
