European police seek dancing trucker

Traffic police in Britain and across Europe said they are on the lookout for a truck driver who posted a video of himself dancing behind the wheel on YouTube.

The trucker, who said in the video that it was shot while traveling from the Netherlands to Belgium, is depicted in the video dancing with his hands off the wheel and his eyes off the road while driving, The Sun reported Friday.

I was just bored, this wasn’t anything special. We all do this — we sing, while we’re driving, the driver says in the video.

Traffic police in Britain and other European countries said they are circulating the video to try to track down the driver.

Police in Romania said they are seeking to talk to the driver after the video was shown on a local TV program.

He doesn’t seem to be driving in Romania so what we can do is limited but we certainly want to talk to him, a senior officer said.
