Boy, 20 months old, crashes parents’ car
Authorities in New York state said a 20-month-old boy crashed his parents’ car while attempting to climb from the back seat of the vehicle to the front.
Police said the child’s mother, Latoya Clayton, 23, of Coram, left the car running outside of a check cashing business Tuesday with her young son and the boy’s father, Michael Comissiong, 58, remaining in the vehicle, Newsday reported Wednesday.
The boy put the car into drive while climbing to the front seat and the 1993 Buick Century rolled forward into the building, police said.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash and police said damage to the building was minimal.
