Company to offer liquid egg products

Posted on: Sunday, 15 March 2009, 13:30 CDT

A company in Britain says it will offer consumers their choice of liquid egg products from either free-range or cage-grown chickens.

Oaklands Farm Eggs will officially unveil Cartons of Egg in an Instant at the upcoming International Food and Drink Event in London, The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.

Oaklands official Elwyn Griffiths said the new products are intended to make cooking at home simpler.

We want to make it easier for people to eat in, Griffiths said.

The Telegraph said the liquid eggs can last for three weeks if unopened, but will only last three days in shoppers' refrigerators once opened.
