Snot attack lands Swedish man in jail
A Swedish man will spend the next four months in jail for shooting snot from his nose onto a store clerk, a court ruled Friday.
A court in the Swedish city of Borgholm sentenced the unidentified 32-year-old man to jail for showering a liquor store cashier with the contents of his nose after a sales problem, The Local said.
The September 2008 incident began when the man brought six bottles of cider to the cashier then found he couldn't pay for them.
When the female cashier, whose identity was not reported, began taking the bottles away, the man closed one nostril with his finger and emptied the other onto the woman.
The man was charged with threatening behavior and harassment in relation to the incident at a Systembolaget store on the island of Oland, the Local said.
