Chicken bits spilled on Minn. road
Police in Minnesota said a semi pulling a trailer full of leftover chicken parts from slaughter spilled onto the streets of Winona.
Officers said the trailer load of inedible chicken skimmings, including heads and feathers, wound up covering Main Street between Sarnia and Howard streets at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, the Winona Daily News reported Wednesday.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said witnesses reported a blue semi tractor driving away from the scene but officers were unable to track down the truck.
The Winona Street Department said most of the skimmings were cleared from the street within an hour of the spill.
