New York police officer said a performance artist who enjoys dressing as Superman has been arrested for the second time in a week.
Maksim Katsnelson, 23, was found flat on his back by police in front of New York's Trump International Hotel while he was dressed as the Man of Steel, the New York Post reported Thursday.
I'm just tired. I'm not going anywhere,
prosecutors quoted Superman
as telling officers who told him to move.
Jacqueline Samuels, Katsnelson's lawyer, said he attempted to flee when officers prepared to arrest him, but he was stopped with the use of pepper spray. Katsnelson told the New York Daily News the stunt was to protest Trump's monopoly
on ugly buildings.
He was charged with resisting arrest, trespassing, disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration and released after posting $1,000 bail.
Katsnelson was previously arrested July 9 after a brawl in Times Square involving Katsnelson in his Superman costume, a man dressed as Batman and seven New York police officers.
