Dealer offers car buyers AK-47s

A Missouri car dealer who gave buyers vouchers for handguns last year has upped the firepower this year to AK-47s.
The promotion is good during the month of August, KCTV-TV, Kansas City, reported. Mark Muller of Max Motors in Butler said he will not hand out assault rifles personally but will give each car buyer a voucher good at a gun store.
That way it separates you from anything bad that could happen,
Muller said. We'll put it in the hands of professionals who do this every day.
Last year, the vouchers were for Caltec pistols. Muller carries one himself.
We already did handguns,
Muller said. Let's do something more fun -- AKs. You ever shot an AK? Oh, they're a blast.
Muller said his customers can use the vouchers to upgrade to a more expensive gun than the AK-47. If assault rifles make them uncomfortable, they can also downgrade to a hunting weapon.
