Man blames crash on snakes
Police in Connecticut said a man who crashed his car into a group of parked vehicles blamed the incident on snakes that police were unable to find.
Angel Rolon of New Britain, Conn., told police he lost control of his sport utility vehicle Monday in Hartford because the pet snakes riding in the car with him got too close to the gas and brake pedals, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.
Sgt. Christene Mertes said animal control officers were unable to find the snakes to confirm the story given by Rolon, who was hospitalized with minor injuries after the crash.
