Posted on: Wednesday, 26 August 2009, 13:08 CDT

Police in Ohio say a 49-year-old man and his 18-year-old son were arrested for an argument that devolved into a sword fight.

Amy Heffner of Elyria told police her husband Thomas B. Heffner, had been arguing with their son, Thomas W. Heffner, about damage done to unidentified items belonging to the father, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Wednesday.

Heffner Jr. stated that he believes he was being treated unfairly and started to argue, the police report of the incident stated. (Amy Heffner said her) husband and son started to argue more violently and both subjects grabbed swords off the wall. At which time she stated she was calling the police.

Heffner said the two men continued to swing the swords at one another until police arrived. Both men were arrested and charged with domestic violence. No one was injured in the duel.

The story is not quite true, the facts are not as they are related in this story. The case and charges against both the father and the son are false and is being dismissed by Court and the judge, with the recommendations of the prosecuter. The statements of the police and their so called report is not true.
