Police arrest nude model at museum
A New York photographer said his model was arrested for stripping naked during a shoot at the city’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Zach Hyman, whose photography features nude models in public New York locations, said model Kathleen Neill, 26, was detained by a guard at the Arms and Armor exhibit and arrested by police, the New York Post reported Thursday.
Everything was going perfect until the very end,
Hyman said. Then it became a worst-case scenario.
Police said Neill was charged with public lewdness. She was released on a desk-appearance ticket.
Hyman told KNBC-TV, New York, he limits all of his photo shoots to 30 seconds of snapping to minimize the amount of time his models have be nude and potentially vulnerable to arrest. He said he always carries bail money on shoots and has his lawyer on speed dial.
