Men target 28 cities in 31 days
Four New York state men said a monthlong JetBlue all-you-can-fly promotion inspired their goal to take 44 flights in 31 days.
Clark Dever, 25, of Buffalo, said he recruited his friends to join him on the trek to 28 U.S. cities, which they are scheduled to begin Tuesday, after discovering the airline's 31-day $599
All You Can Jet promotion online, The Buffalo News reported Monday.
We're looking at it as a snapshot of the United States, said Denver, who is documenting the trip via Twitter, Facebook and a blog.
Denver and co-travelers Joe DiNardo, Jeremy Grodek and Steve Micciche said they used the Internet to connect with people in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and other locations on their itinerary to arrange cheap rides, sleeping arrangements and suggestions for local activities.
JetBlue spokeswoman Alison Croyle said the company is pleased with the men's plan.
We think (the trip) is a great idea, and are definitely intrigued by it and we're looking forward to seeing what happens next on their adventure, she said.
